About Dr. Mark A. Ellis
Dr. Mark A. Ellis Sr., is an Inspired Leader, Business Practitioner, Evangelist, and
Mentor to many, who has extensively traversed this nation passionately sharing God’s Word and Kingdom Principles with people of all races and backgrounds.
As a true student of education and continual learning, Dr. Ellis started his educational journey in his home state of Mississippi; earning a Bachelors in Arts in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. In 2006. He received a Doctorate of Divinity from Interdenominational Theological Center and SB Seminary. He later attended Columbia University of NY and Darden Business School of VA receiving the sought-after Executive MBA Certificates. Most recently, in 2018, he received a Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from Boston College.
Dr. Ellis’ mission is to help organizations and leaders through strategic planning, coaching, and development. Dr. Ellis has a proactive and analytical way of recognizing and developing the proper plan of action to solve institutional problems. Because of this, he has soared in “Making Great People” in the Marketplace Leadership space. Dr. Ellis as over 20 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing as Vice President of Sales and Operations at Pitney Bowes Inc. In 2015, he retired from the fortune 500 Company based in Stamford CT at the remarkable age of 45. In 2016 he led, as Chief Operating Officer, the historic Rainbow Push Coalition Inc., based in Chicago IL., but the best is still being written.
Currently, Dr. Ellis is founder and Chief Consultant at The Ellis Group. A coaching and consulting firm specializing in private business consulting in the small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) market. He is helping organizations excel at, talent development, organizational alignment, sales and revenue growth, and customer satisfaction and retention.
Pastor Ellis currently serves on the following boards:
- ProSeed, Inc. – Non Profit that builds schools in West Africa
- Louisiana Board of Ethics – Appointed by Governor John Bel Edwards
- Baton Rouge Police Foundation
Dr. Ellis is happily married to the lovely Mary S. Ellis and father to 4 beautiful children.
